A Warmer Fall Look

Howdy Y’all!

Fall is in full swing but those 90 degree days are still making an appearance. Fall in the south is so finicky and the warmer weather can really put a damper on my autumn style. So, I’ve been sporting looks that can easily be paired with jackets in the cooler evening and mornings and that are cool enough for the afternoon heat.

Honestly living in Austin, I wear these type of sandals 70% of the year. They go with EVERYTHING and they’re cool enough when it’s too hot for booties. I’ve been LOVING these wide leg cut off jeans for this time of year. They’re super high waisted (which I love) and look perfect paired with heels. I’ve never been much of a Target shopper (I’m obsessed with their home section though) BUT I was completely blown away when I walked past their ladies clothing department the other day. Ladylike Attire

In honor of probably my most favorite week of the year, Thanksgiving, and also Black Friday/Small Business Saturday/Cyber Monday, I’m posting one of my favorite dresses I got last year on major sale. White Lace Top & Denim

If you know me you know I can never have enough white tops. Seriously. They are my go-to purchase whenever I’m torn between a few items. Why? Because living in Texas they are literally in style all year round. This top is one of my favorites. It’s timeless but also girly. I love pairing it with distressed jeans but it would also be super cute with a black leather skirt or leather pants with a leather jacket. I love pairing girly pieces with edgey items to rough up the look a little bit. But of course, I love a good cowhide bag with any white and denim outfit. I think this has become my staple look!

Let me introduce you to your new favorite fall/winter outfit! I have been wearing this look on repeat lately because it is SO comfortable and SO easy to wear. All Black and Ruffles

I can’t believe it’s already the last weekend in September. Time is flying! I always want to slow this season down and just enjoy it. The first “cold front” has come through this week in Austin and there is a slight (very slight) chill in the air. When in doubt, wear all black. Am I right?
