White Transition Dress & Cowboy Boots
Good morning!
Although we are in the middle of summer, I always find myself looking for early fall transition pieces around this time. I'm hesitant to buy any summer clothes full price at this point because I know most summer items will be placed on sale in a couple of weeks! From working in the fashion industry, I know most brands launch their fall collections at the end of July early August and usually start marking down their summer product to make room for new merchandise. All to say, this is a great time to hunt for the sale items you've wanted all spring/summer but haven't been able to pull the trigger!
If you live in the south, especially Texas, you know you can wear your summer clothes AT LEAST up until October. This is a dress I could literally wear about 8 months out of the year in Austin. But, once it hits early fall, you want to dress for the season change (or lack there of)! Fall fashion has always been my favorite! This dress paired with a black bag and black cowboy boots is perfect for that transition. I'll also add a scarf to this look once it's not 100 degrees out...
PS - I must add that I do NOT believe in not wearing white after Labor Day... White is always in season and appropriate all year around if you're asking me!
If you don't own any cowboy boots, this is the starter boot for you! I own the Tecovas Lucy and Penny boots and I wear them like crazy. They are my go to comfortable shoe options all year around! The best part is, they are super affordable and really great quality.
