Throw-On Summer Dress

Happy Tuesday!

V happy Monday is over and done with. I hate to hate Mondays but it is what it is... right?

The Austin summer heat is here and it is getting impossible to wear anything... I've been looking for easy and affordable summer dresses that I can throw on that will keep me cool and are no fuss. Last weekend Bear and I decided to go to brunch (shocker) at Jacoby's and had to quickly get ready to make our reservation. I wasn't planning on getting ready that day so I needed an easy go to outfit that didn't require much thought. I pulled out this dress and a pair of slip ons and called it a day. Aren't simple dresses just the best? I think so! After brunch we ran errands and ended up getting caught in a rain storm leaving a coffee shop. Wouldn't you know this dress got soaked and ended up drying within minutes! That's why I love less expensive clothes for summer days because you never know what might happen... You could be sweating bullets at an outside brunch or sprinting to the car in pouring rain. Either way, no big deal!

Some of my favorite summer dresses are linked below!

I LOVE this black straw hat because it is a tad bit dressier than your average straw hat. Perfect for a summer day when your out and about or if your just in need of a cute accessory.

I've had this bucket bag for a few years now and I will say it is one of the best, if not the best, bags I've ever purchased. It still looks brand new and it's the easiest go-to, throw-on, carry-all bag I have.
