Summer is officially here and it's time to update your swimsuit wardrobe. Although I'm not technically in my swimsuit very much these days I still like to buy a couple new suits each year so that I feel on trend, comfortable, and most of all, confident. I like to think of myself as "fit" in that I work out 3-4 times a week (..ok maybe 2-3) and I'm a pretty healthy eater (..ok mostly...) but I naturally feel more vulnerable and exposed when I'm wearing a swimsuit. I think it's really important to find a couple of suit styles that complement your figure and accent your body type.

When I'm looking for the swim suits I want to buy each year, I try and look for the same brands that I know and love. They tend to be a bit more pricy (but still affordable) and I know they will most likely look good on my petite and curvy shape. I've found that the cheaper the swimsuit is, the less likely they are to last year over year and the less likely they are to complement my figure.
